SKU: 0632 Category:

These arms can be used with all the Ulti Flo Valve kits in extreme pressure applications.

When fitted to a Ulti flo Float valve, with an 8” float mounted on the end of the arm, they will provide a shut off pressure of ≥1050 Kpa (150 psi.)

All Cocky valve float arms are made from 10mm Ø SS316 rod making them the strongest arms on the market.

  • 400mm X M10 Float Arm

Engineered for tight spaces: The double-bent form allows the valve assembly + float to fit inside trough inlets with shallow or confined mounting cavities.

Superior strength: Crafted from SS316 stainless steel 10 mm rod, this arm resists bending, corrosion, and wear.

High performance under pressure: Capable of shutting off at ~900 kPa when used with an 8″ float, so maintains reliability even under demanding water pressure.

Versatile compatibility: Uses standard M10 thread so integrates smoothly with Cocky Valve float bodies and float assemblies.

Designed with real troughs in mind: Specifically made for trough brands or styles (e.g. Mid-West) where conventional arms struggle to fit, meaning less modification needed on site.

1. What is special about the double-bent 400 mm arm design?
The double-bend allows the float to clear tight enclosure areas, such as in troughs with small cavities for valve mounting, enabling fitting without interference.

2. What material is this float arm made from, and how strong is it?
It is made from SS316 stainless steel rod, 10 mm diameter, giving excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and resistance to deformation under load.

3. What shut-off pressure can I expect when this arm is used with an 8″ float?
When used with an Ulti-Flo Float Valve and an 8″ (200 mm) float, this 400 mm arm can achieve shut-off pressures around 900 kPa (130 psi).

4. For what situations is this 400 mm double-bent arm ideal?
It’s especially suited for troughs or tanks where space is restricted around the inlet, e.g. Mid-West style troughs, where a straight arm might not fit; also good where you need longer reach without altering the structure.
