Cocky Valve Ulti Flo Officially Australian made
The Ulti Flo Float Valve Kit — our flagship, and the valve most farmers know us for — has just been licensed by Australian Made Campaign Limited to carry the Australian Made logo. Official, independently certified, and honestly, a long time coming.

Born in Dairy Country. Still Made There.
The Ulti Flo started life near Korumburra, Victoria, right in the middle of dairy country. Our founder was out on the land, sick of fitting valves that cracked, jammed, or gave up within a season, and decided there had to be a better way. So he built one. No design brief, no corporate backing — just a farmer with a problem and the stubbornness to solve it properly. That valve became the Cocky Valve Ulti Flo.
Word travels fast in farming communities, and it wasn’t long before neighbouring properties wanted one too. What started as a fix for one trough on one farm slowly became a product other farmers were asking for the Cocky Valve by name.
Today we’re still in Victoria — Seaford now, not Korumburra — still run by the same person who invented it, still a fully independent, family-owned business. The workshop’s bigger, the reach is national, but the thinking hasn’t changed: build something that works, back it properly, and don’t cut corners to save a dollar.
Officially Australian Made
The Ulti Flo Float Valve Kit has now been licensed by Australian Made Campaign Limited to carry the Australian Made logo. It’s a milestone we’re genuinely proud of, and one that’s been years in the making — this valve has been Australian, through and through, since the day it was invented in a paddock outside Korumburra.
Getting there wasn’t a rubber stamp. It meant handing over our process, our records, and our story to an independent body and having them look at it properly. Seeing that come back with a green light feels like the industry — not just our customers — recognising what we already knew.
From a workshop in dairy country to a name farmers across the country trust, it feels good to see that story recognised officially.
Same Team. Same Valve. Now Official.
No corporate ownership, no offshore head office — just the same people who’ve been building this thing since the first prototype went into a trough outside Korumburra. That’s not a marketing line; it’s genuinely how small this operation still is at its core, even with the volume we do now.
Every kit that leaves Seaford carries a bit of that original stubbornness — the same refusal to let a farmer down when it matters most, whether that’s the middle of summer or the middle of nowhere. The Australian Made logo doesn’t change any of that. It just puts an official name to something we’ve believed for a long time.
Ask your local rural shop to stock the Cocky Valve Ulti Flo line or we can get it to you direct.
Here’s to many more years of innovation.
